Since the Covid pandemic, most bankruptcy court hearings have been held by telephone or video conference. They are usually not stressful in any way. You call in from your home, and I call in from my home office. The trustee will ask you to confirm you read and signed all your paperwork, and you truthfully disclosed all your assets, income, and liabilities. You usually only have to talk for a few minutes. Your case will normally end two months after the hearing.
